Mumbai: After debuting on JioHotstar on June 4, Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is Netflix bound.
The streaming giant will offer the film’s international version, an uncensored and unmuted cut that was previously available only outside India.
While JioHotstar carries a different edit, the Netflix version is reportedly set to feature unmuted swear words, lengthier action sequences and previously unseen footage.
Among the additions are more graphic scenes involving hammers, decapitations and cement blocks, as well as a deleted sequence from the Lyari gang war in which Hamza uses a fireball to kill his enemy.
Netflix India announced the release on Thursday through its social media handles, revealing that ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will start streaming from June 19.
The film will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Helmed by Aditya Dhar and inspired by true incidents, the film also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan, along with Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
An excerpt from News18 Showsha review read, “Dhurandhar is marked with profanity, gore and violence, lots of it, but it only adds more character and even nuance to the narrative. Here, none of it is for cheap thrills. And that’s what makes this film unique and stand out from the host of those that uses savagery as a titillation device. Before we deep dive into what this film entails, let us mention that be prepared for a complex, long, meandering story set against an intricate political and espionage landscape – one that’s based on an incredibly true story but also dramatised for effect.”
