Mumbai: ‘Dhurandhar’ actor Nadeem Khan, who played the role of Rehman Dakait’s cook in the Ranveer Singh-starrer blockbuster spy-thriller, has been arrested for allegedly raping his maid over nearly a decade on the pretext of marriage.
The 41-year-old maid lodged a complaint
with Mumbai police after Nadeem refused to marry her as promised earlier.
According to a News18 report, the maid told police that she initially remained silent as she was afraid and under emotional stress.
Based on the maid’s complaint, Mumbai police registered a case and arrested the actor. An investigation is underway.
Nadeem has appeared in several films in small roles, including ‘Mimi’ (2021), ‘Vadh’ (2022), and ‘Main Ladega’ (2024).
The actor’s social media handle suggests that he is also actively involved in theatre.
Nadeem will next be seen in ‘Vadh 2’, starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta. The film is slated to hit theatres on February 6.
