Bhubaneswar: The Diamond Jubilee Logo of Sainik School, Bhubaneswar was unveiled by Dr Pratap Kumar Mishra, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary, Department of School and Mass Education here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mishra said Sainik School Bhubaneswar is the pride of Odisha and the government is committed to help the school in all possible ways.
The logo was unveiled at the Vivekananda Hall of the school in the presence of Principal Gp Capt S Dominic Rayan; Commander Pritika Sharma; Administrative Officer, Commander Usha Sangwan; Vice-Principal, Senior Master B Pradhan and members of academic and administrative staff. The cadets of the school witnessed the event virtually.
The Sainik School Bhubaneswar, which was established on Feb 1, 1962 will be completing 60th anniversary this year. The school had planned various events to commemorate its Diamond Jubilee Year. However, due to COVID situation, all the activities have been put on hold and will be celebrated once the situation normalises.
