Rayagada: Three more persons have succumbed to diarrhoea, taking the toll due to the disease in Kashipur block of Odiha’s Rayagada district to four.
According to media reports, these deaths have been reported from Jhariasahi in the last two days. Thirteen more are being treated for diarrhoea in Tikiri and Kashipur community health centres (CHCS) while many others affected are still in the village. The heavy rainfall is making matters worse, reports added.
A medical team, however, is yet to reach the village to take stock of the situation.
