Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways has decided to run a pair of special trains between Dibrugarh in Assam and Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
The train will run from Dibrugarh from February 27 and from Kanyakumari from March 4, according to a Railways release.
Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Special will leave Dibrugarh on every Saturday at 7.25 pm and Kanyakumari on every Thursday at 5.30 pm. It will go through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.
The train will have stoppages at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Berahmpur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada in ECoR jurisdiction and at important stations between Dibrugarh and Kanyakumari from both directions.
