Mumbai: Ananya Panday and Walker Blanco have reportedly called time on their relationship after nearly two years of dating.
The duo, who had been rumoured to be together for quite some time, are said to have parted ways amicably.
Ananya and Walker reportedly met during the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, where their equation caught fans’ attention.
Although the two never officially confirmed their relationship, their social media interactions and public appearances over time gave fans plenty of reasons to believe they were dating.
“It was Ananya’s decision to end the relationship last week. However, the break-up was mutual, and there are no hard feelings,” a source was quoted as saying by ETimes.
Over the past two years, Ananya and Walker were frequently spotted together and occasionally featured in each other’s Instagram posts, further fuelling dating rumours.
Walker was also present at Ananya’s intimate birthday celebration. On the occasion, he shared a picture with the actress on Instagram and wrote, “Happy birthday, beautiful. You are so special. I love you, Anniee!”
Earlier, opening up about her idea of love, Ananya had said, “For me, love is friendship. Mere liye pyaar dosti hai, as SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) sir says. It’s all about that connection, trust, and the ability to be yourself. I don’t think love is tied down to just a romantic relationship. Love exists everywhere.”
“When I was younger, I used to think there’s this one big love that exists and you won’t feel love for anyone else. But I feel love for so many people – my friends, my family, everyone! So, I think my definition of love being tied down to one soulmate has changed growing up,” she added.
Before Walker, Ananya was reportedly in a relationship with actor Aditya Roy Kapur. The two were together for nearly two years before calling it quits.
A close friend of Ananya’s told Bombay Times at the time that the breakup came as a surprise to people close to the couple. However, neither Ananya nor Aditya ever publicly revealed what led to their separation.
