Mumbai: Bollywood choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan, who recently turned 61, received a ‘special’ birthday gift from her crush, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
Well, the ‘special’ gift indeed had a birthday card bearing the name ‘Tom Cruise’, but in reality, it was a gift from Farah’s best friend Huma Qureshi.
Farah took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of the neatly-wrapped gift she received from Huma, accompanied by a birthday card.
It read, “To Farah Khan. Happy Birthday! Wishing you all good things in life forever. Tom Cruise (AKA Huma).”
Sharing the picture, Farah wrote, “As if Tom Cruise would write me such a normal message… He’d sing this song.”
Farah added Asha Bhosle’s song ‘Aao Na’ as the background track on her Instagram story.
Huma reposted Farah’s story with laughing emojis.
“He (Tom Cruise) said it was a coded Ethan Hunt style text only you would understand,” wrote Farah.
Sharing glimpses from Farah’s birthday celebration, Huma wished her a happy birthday.
She wrote, “Best birthday lunch with Farah. Celebrating her warmth, love, laughter and a little madness — today and every day. She makes even a messed-up cake and every moment feel just right.”
