Mumbai: Ever since ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ went on floors, speculation was rife that ‘Stree 2’ actress Shraddha Kapoor could be roped in for an item number similar to Samantha Ruth’s ‘Oo Antava’ in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.
But according to a report in Deccan Chronicle, it’s Telugu actress Sreeleela, and not Shraddha, who will be seen grooving with Allu Arjun in ‘Pushpa 2.’
A recent report in Koimoi states that Shraddha was the first choice for the dance number, but she turned down the offer as the makers were reluctant to pay her the same fee as was given to Samantha.
Samantha was reportedly paid Rs 5 crore for the dance number ‘Oo Antava’.
Shraddha asked for the same renumeration, but was refused. Negotiations between the makers of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ and Shraddha didn’t work out and Sreeleela was their choice.
