Did You Know Senior Citizens Can Avail Free Medical Consultation At Home Via eSanjeevaniOPD

New Delhi: Elderly people do not need to step out of their homes for consulting doctors in this pandemic. The Central Government’s eSanjeevani website lets senior citizens get online consultation for minor ailments like headaches, pain, high blood pressure and diabetes from their phones and computers.

Users will have to open www.eSanjeevaniopd.in and do the following:

1. Select patient registration.

2. Type mobile number. Type OTP on mobile for registration.

3. Enter patient details and district. Now, you will connect with the doctor online via video call and consult about your health problems. The doctor will prescribe the medicine online. You can take the medicine by showing it in the medical pharmacy shop.

The website shows the average timing waiting time and number of doctors available at that instant.

The service is also completely free, and can be availed every day from 10 am to 3 pm, including Sunday.

Private services such as Apollo Hospitals, DocsOnCall, Practo and others are also available for remote consulting at a cost.
