Didi Signs Up Prashant Kishor Two Years Before Bengal Assembly Polls

Kolkata: Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday met poll whiz kid Prashant Kishor, one of the architects of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sweeping victory in the recent Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls, and signed him up, reports NDTV.

Mamata is still smarting from having lost precious ground to the BJP in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

Prashant Kishor’s organization reportedly worked with Jagan Reddy’s YSR Congress for two years, meticulously planning his campaign in each of the 175 seats.

His party led in all 25 Lok Sabha seats and in over 150 of the 175 assembly constituencies in the state.

Prashant is also credited with running Narendra Modi’s successful campaign in 2014 and Nitish Kumar’s in 2015. But he had kept a low profile after failing to ensure a Congress win in Uttar Pradesh in 2017.
