New Delhi: After adding 70 per cent special Corona fee on liquor, the Delhi government on Tuesday increased the value-added tax (VAT) on fuels.
The price of petrol has increased by Rs 1.67 a litre and diesel has seen a steep hike of Rs 7.10 a litre.
Petrol now costs Rs 71.26 while diesel costs Rs 69.39 a litre in Delhi.
The Delhi government has almost doubled the levy on diesel to 30 per cent. Here is the complete break-up:
