Mumbai: Dilip Kumar’s brothers Ehsaan Khan and Aslam Khan have tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to Lilavati Hospital here on Saturday night.
Ehsaan is 89 and Aslam a few years younger than him. The two, who had property disputes with Dilip Kumar, stay together in Bandra.
“Ehsaan Khan a
nd Aslam Khan complained of breathlessness. They were advised by (cardiologist) Dr Nitin Gokhale to get hospitalised as their oxygen levels were quite low. The brothers also have a history of blood pressure and heart ailment,” Entertainment Times quoted a family source as saying.
They were admitted under Dr Jalil Parkar, who has been treating Sanjay Dutt also. Dutt, who was admitted to Lilavati last weekend, underwent a series of tests before it was diagnosed that he is suffering from stage 3 lung cancer.
“Yes, Aslam Khan and Ehsaan Khan are on non-invasive ventilator support. They had hypoxia, their oxygen saturation was less than 94, both also had cough and fever,” Dr Parkar was quoted as saying.
