Bhubaneswar: To streamline the COVID-19 immunization programme in Odisha, the state government on Saturday formed a vaccination committee.
The 21-member committee, to be headed by the director, Family Welfare, also includes a senior official of Universal Immunization Programme, Drugs Controller and heads of department of SCB Medical College and Hospital, and Capital Hospital. The committee will visit all the districts to review the COVID vaccination programme.
The government has also formed a district-level committee led by the Chief District Medical Officer as chairperson and additional director, Public Health as the other member.
