Bhubaneswar: After successfully portraying emotions and desire of a quadriplegic in ‘Two Desires and A Dream’, real-life quadriplegic Jitendra Kumar Biswal is now hopeful of living his dream.
An inspiration for one and all, Jitendra has disabled all hurdles to become the first-ever quadriplegic actor. Disability is a state of mind and one can overcome it with sheer will power, is what he believes.
His upcoming Odia musical thriller ‘Wajood’ is a combination of emotion, drama and suspense. The seven-minute long video has been produced by Sthita Patnaik and the song rendered by Satyajeet.
IPL fame Sunita Garabadu has been cast opposite Jitendra while Azhar Ali has directed the video.
“My objective is to show the world that a person with disability can also have a dream, which he can chase. Emotions and desire are not restricted only to those who are able. I want to inspire people to ignore what is not fine with them and forge ahead with confidence,” Said Jitendra.
The video will be released by Amara Muzik in August. “It depicts the story of love, betrayal and revenge in a different way. I am happy that the team picked me for this extremely challenging role,” Jitendra signed off.
