The economic slump in the auto industry hasn’t spared Japanese carmaker Honda as well. It’s executive sedan Civic which has been the highest seller in its segment with 3,459 units in March-July period, is being offered at a massive cash discount of Rs 2.5 lakh on the diesel variant. The petrol variant gets a Rs 2 lakh discount.
Other Honda cars too have discounts and benefits. Here’s the list:
Honda CR-V
The 5th gen Honda CR-V comes with a cash discount of Rs 4 lakh on the diesel variants. It is powered by a 120hp, 1.6-litre engine mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It comes in two-wheel and AWD modes. The petrol variant has a 154hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with a CVT automatic.
Honda City
Honda BR-V
Honda’s seven-seat MPV hasn’t been a big seller. It is available with benefits up to Rs 1.20 lakh.
Honda Jazz
The premium spacious hatchback is available with benefits of up to Rs 60,000 on all variants. The Jazz comes in both diesel and petrol variants. The petrol comes with a CVT automatic option as well.
Honda WR-V
Honda’s urban SUV too gets discounts up to Rs 55,000 on all variants. The WR-V comes in petrol and diesel variants but there’s no automatic gearbox option.
Honda Amaze
Honda’s best seller too is being offered with benefits of up to Rs 53,000 on some variants. The benefits include maintenance programmes and extended warranty.
