Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has directed all departments to submit total information and update the data on filling up vacant posts in the official recruitment web portal.
In a letter to all departments on Saturday, Manoj Kumar Mohanty, special secretary, General Administration and Public Grievance department, stated that they were requested to fill up the columns for “Information on Direct Recruitment” and “Information on filling up of posts” in the recruitment portal htto://recruitment.hrmsodisha.gov.in/. But Sports and Youth Services department has not yet uploaded the data in the table for “Information on filling up of vacant posts”.
He said out of 67,874 vacant base level posts, the Administrative Departments have obtained approval for 36,482 posts from Empowered Committee and out of the approved posts, requisition for 27,578 posts have been sent to the recruiting agencies. But in the action taken report on department wise filling up of vacant posts, it is noticed that requisition have been sent for 36,700 posts. So it is requested to fill up the columns properly so that there will be no discrepancy, the letter mentioned.
The chief secretary has requested all departments to furnish the vacancy position and anticipated vacancy at entry level in different grades of posts from Group-A to Group-D till December 31, 2023 within 7 days to GA& PG Department in the recruitment portal.
Since a meeting will be held on on filling up of base level vacant posts on August 23 on virtual mode, Mohanty requested the departments, which have not filled up/partially filled up the columns for “Information on Direct Recruitment” and “Information on filling up of vacant posts”, to take necessary steps to fill up the same immediately and send requisition for all vacant Group A, B & C posts to the respective recruiting agencies.
