Dhenkanal: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids in an alleged disproportionate assets case against a sub-assistant registrar of Cooperative society. The accused has been identified as Bidyadhar Behera.
According to sources, a team of the anti-corruption wing raided four places, including the residential house located at Mouza Kalarahanga at Infocity, Bhubaneswar, 2BHK flat at Astik Residency, Patia, Bhubaneswar, a house at his native place at Kumbharia, under Bhandaripokhari of Bhadrak district and the office room in the Assistant Registrars Co-operative Societies’ office.
The exact amount of disproportionate wealth is yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
