Districts Asked To Share COVID Vaccination Success Stories With SIFHW

Bhubaneswar: Success stories of COVID-19 vaccination drive will now be shared with State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIFHW).

The Health and Family Welfare department has asked districts and municipal corporations to document such stories and share those with SIHFW with a tagline – ‘COVID-19 Vaccination: Making it possible.’

The state has so far administered 1.36 crore doses of COVID vaccines during which the health teams achieved milestones and fearlessly went the extra mile to create awareness on safety measures and the need for vaccination, said Additional Chief Secretary (Health), PK Mohapatra, who has written to the collectors and municipal commissioners.

“Many innovative ideas, local approaches, solutions and stories would be in place for successful implementation of the drive. The Health Ministry has requested to share such local stories on how challenges were turned into opportunities beyond the call of duty,” the letter stated.
