Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan opened up about his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an interview. Khan and the Kapoor family—his wife Kareena and relatives Ranbir, Karishma, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Singh and others—met the Prime Minister in New Delhi to invite him to the Raj Kapoor Film Festival, which kicked off on December 13 to celebrate the legend’s centenary birth anniversary. After meeting, Saif Ali Khan revealed that the Prime Minister told him that he sleeps only three hours a day, reported the HT City.
“To me he looked like he was working very hard running the country, and still taking time to connect on this level. I asked him how much rest he got and he said about three hours a night. It was a special day for me. We thanked him for taking out some of his valuable time to see us and give the family so much respect,” Saif told in the interview.
The Omkara actor shared that he was wondering if the Prime Minister would be tired as he had arrived after a day in that Parliament. “….But he put on a warm smile and was attentive and charming to us all!” he said.
Saif also shared how PM Modi spoke to him about his parents, Sharmila Tagore and late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. “He asked about my parents individually and said he thought we would bring Taimur and Jehangir to meet him! He signed a paper for them that Kareena asked him to,” he said.
