Actress Deepika Padukone at Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Tuesday ahead of her latest movie Padmavat's release.
Mumbai: Deepika Padukone on Wednesday launched a campaign called #Dobara Poocho or Ask Again on mental health issues.
She urged people to be a little more attentive towards their loved ones and inquire about their life and mental health.
The 34-year-old actor already runs a mental health foundation called The Live Love Laugh Foundation (TLLF). She took to Instagram to post a video that urged people to check up on friends and family battling depression and other mental illnesses.
The video has four separate stories. In each one of them, a close friend or a family member of the person battling depression is seen constantly asking the patient to speak up and discuss their problems.
In the caption of the post, Deepika Padukone reiterated the need to be more sensitive to the emotional needs of those around us.
