Bhadrak: A doctor posted at Chandbali Community Health Centre (CHC) in Odisha’s Bhadrak district has been booked for allegedly misbehaving with a nurse of the health centre.
The matter came to light after the nurse lodged a police complaint against the doctor. In a complaint at Chandbali police station, she alleged that the doctor had outraged her modesty, sources said.
Based on her complaint, the police have registered a case in this regard and launched an investigation. The statement of the woman was also recorded under Section 164 of the CrPC.
While the accused is yet to be taken into custody, investigation into the episode is in progress after police registered the case. Further details are awaited.
The accused doctor was not immediately available for comment.
