[Watch] Will Ayushmann Khurana’s ‘Dr G’ Raise A Laugh? Trailer Drops A Hint

The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G has finally been released.  The actor’s effort to tickle the audience’s funny bone as a struggling gynaecologist seems to be the usual portrayal of his earlier stereotypes. The film also features Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chadha in major roles while Rakul Preet Singh is playing Ayushmann Khurrana’s love interest.

The nearly three-minute trail

er shows Ayushmann Khurrana playing the role of Uday Gupta who got forced into Gynaecology. Later, with the arrival of Shefali Shah, we get to witness Ayushmann’s parochialism being dissolved.  There is nothing new about his innuendos either. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether this small-budget film will draw people to cinema halls in these days of #boycottBollywood.

The film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s sister Anubhuti Kashyap.

Doctor G is set to hit the theatres on October 14.
