Doctor In Odisha’s Malkangiri Croons To Boost Morale Of COVID-19 Patients

Malkangiri: In trying times such as the one brought about by the pandemic, when a COVID-19 patient is totally cut off from his family, it takes a doctor to both cure and boost the morale.

Dr Priyabrata Dash (28) at the COVID hospital in Old Town, Malkangiri, has taken upon himself to spread positivity among patients.

It was his birthday on Saturday and he sang ‘Hum Honge Kamyaab’ at the hospital to encourage his patients not to lose hope. He posted the video on his Facebook wall, reported The New Indian Express (TNIE).

The video shows the young doctor singing the song wearing a PPE kit

“We will win the war against COVID-19. The heroic sacrifice made our warriors shall not go in vain,” Dr. Dash was reported as saying by TNIE.

He was also recently in the news for treating and saving the life of a newborn whose mother was COVID-19 positive.
