Angul: A 32-year-old woman doctor was allegedly raped by the son of a dhaba owner on the campus of Chhendipada community health centre (CHC) in Odisha’s Angul districts on Monday night.
Angul SP Jagmohan Mena said that the accused has been arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged by the doctor on Tuesday and he will be sent for medical examination on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the doctor, who was living alone in her official quarters, had ordered food from a local dhaba. The 35-year-old accused reached her place with the food around 11 pm, forced himself in as soon as she opened the door and raped her.
