Sambalpur: Five doctors and 10 nurses of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla have been put in quarantine after they came in contact with a COVID-19 patient on Wednesday.
Panic gripped at the medical facility premise as the COVID-19 patient, who had visited VIMSAR for some other treatment, was later found coronavirus positive.
According to sources, the doctors and nurses had come in contact with the COVID-19 positive person during the treatment. Their family members have also been advised to stay in home quarantine.
Their swab samples have been collected and sent for testing.
