Boudh: Health officials including senior doctors staged a protest against alleged misbehaviour by district collector and SP in Odisha’s Boudh district on Saturday.
According to sources, Dr Madan Mohan Pradhan, Additional Director Public Health (VBD) in the distric
t filed a complaint at Adarsh police station that collector J Sonal and SP Raj Prasad behaved inappropriately with him during a meeting.
Later, Dr Mohan along with the ADMO and other health staff staged a protest against the conduct of the two senior officers of the district in front of the district headquarters hospital (DHH).
The misbehaviour of the collector and the SP towards a senior doctor cannot be tolerated, they said while speaking to the media at the protest site. They demanded a written apology from them and immediate transfer of the collector.
They threatened to wear black badges to the duty as a mark of protest until their demands are fulfilled.
