Boudh: Health officials including senior doctors staged a protest against alleged misbehaviour by district collector and SP in Odisha’s Boudh district on Saturday.
According to sources, Dr Madan Mohan Pradhan, Additional Director Public Health (VBD) in the district filed a complaint at Adarsh police station that collector J Sonal and SP Raj Prasad behaved inappropriately with him during a meeting.
Later, Dr Mohan along with the ADMO and other health staff staged a protest against the conduct of the two senior officers of the district in front of the district headquarters hospital (DHH).
The misbehaviour of the collector and the SP towards a senior doctor cannot be tolerated, they said while speaking to the media at the protest site. They demanded a written apology from them and immediate transfer of the collector.
They threatened to wear black badges to the duty as a mark of protest until their demands are fulfilled.
