Puri: Carcass of a dolphin was washed ashore on Puri sea beach here on Friday.
According to sources, lifeguards spotted the carcass near Digabareni Khunt.
On being informed, forest department officials reached the spot and identified it as a Bottlenose dolphin found in Chilika lake.
It is being suspected that the dolphin died after being hit by a trawler.
