Berhampur: The door-to-door health screening launched in Berhampur city has led to confirmation of 65 corona positive cases.
Ganjam district administration had launched the health screening of every household under ‘Mission Zero COVID-19’ programme to identify the symptoms and co-morbidity.
According to Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC), 3,71,322 people in the city were screened during the drive. Of them, 217 suspected cases were identified and their swab samples sent for laboratory test.
The reports of the test that were received on Saturday confirmed 65 cases to be corona positive.
Around 70 teams consisting of ANM, ASHA, AWW, AYUSH workers conducted the door-to-door health screening.
