New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday said that the double engine government both at the Centre and Odisha will ensure speedy development in the state.
The Union Minister said this after Odisha’s Science and Technology and Food Supplies Minister Krushna Chandra Patra called on him in New Delhi and discussed about various aspects of development of StartUps and innovation in Odisha.
Singh said the double-engine government will put Odisha on the investment map and usher entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth of the eastern state. “People have reposed their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and chose development,” he said
Singh also said that Odisha will play a vital role in the development of India and achieving the vision 2047 and display an example of competitive cooperative federalism.
“Odisha has many institutions under the Minister of Science and Technology, specifically the institutes concerned with Space and technology,” he added.
On his part, Minister Patra commended the feat achieved by the ministries held by Jitendra Singh and sought his guidance and support.
Patra, who is on a four-day visit to New Delhi, also met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and discussed several rail infrastructure projects in the state.
