Cuttack: Professor Dr Jayashree Mohanty has been appointed as the Dean and Principal-in-charge of the SCB Medical College and Hospital (SCBMCH) in Cuttack.
After the voluntary retirement of Prof (Dr) Sidhartha Das, the state government hand over the charges to Dr Mohanty on Wednesday.
According to the notification issued by the Health Department, Dr Mohanty of the Radiology Department of SCB will be in charge as the new Dean and Principal of SCB till further appointment to the post.
The tenure of SCB Superintendent Prof (Dr) Prasanna Kumar Debata also ended on Thursday. No appointment has been made to the post yet.
