Dreaded Dacoit’s House Raided In Balangir

Balangir: Police on Wednesday raided the house of a dreaded dacoit at
Highschoolpada in Titlagarh area in Balangir district.

The cops carried out the raid in Lokanath Kumbhar’s house on the basis
of a warrant and seized cash to the tune of Rs 37 lakh and gold
ornaments from the spot.

However, Lokanath was absconding when police raided the place.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the criminal who is involved in a
number of dacoity cases in the district and many other parts of the
state,” a police officer informed.
