Bhubaneswar: The State Transport Authority (STA) will conduct a special drive against riders without helmets from May 15 to 21 across Odisha.
The drive will also crack down on triple riders and juvenile riders. The driving licence of riders without helmets will be suspended for a period of three months.
As many as 1,308 people, including 868 riders and 440 pillion riders of two-wheelers, were killed in road accidents in 2021 in Odisha.
