Driver Of Mumbai Bus That Killed 7 Jumped Out Of The Vehicle With Bags After Mishap

Mumbai: CCTV visuals from inside the BEST bus that killed seven people in Mumbai’s Kurla recently show its driver Sanjay More jumping out of the broken window of the vehicle, collecting bags, after the accident. These visuals have gone viral on social media.

The video clips show passengers in a state of panic as the electric vehicle (EV) went out of control. It then went on to hit several vehicles and pedestrians on Monday night in Kurla west.

As the bus started running amok, passengers held on tightly to the poles and handles, the video shows. Many of them looked out of the window to find out what was happening.

Immediately after the bus stopped, many passengers jumped out of the broken windows. The video shows Sanjay moved to the cabin, picked up two backpacks and jumped out of a window. The bus conductor got down from the rear side door.

The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) bus killed seven and injured 42 others around 9:30 pm on Monday along the SG Barve Marg in Kurla.
