Soro/Bhubaneswar: The driver and pharmacist, travelling in a 108 ambulance, sustained critical injuries when the vehicle overturned at Soro on Sunday.
They were rescued by some locals and admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
According to reports, the accident took place on National Highway-16 near Matiapada Chhak when the ambulance driver lost control over the vehicle.
In a separate incident, driver of a vegetable-laden pick-up van was injured after being hit by a car at Power House Square in Bhubaneswar. The victim was rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.
The van was coming from Chhattisgarh when the accident occurred, reports added.
