A bus driver of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation suffered a heart attack while driving and stopped the bus on a road side to save around 50 passengers onboard. The 50 year old driver, L Ramesh, reportedly collapsed on the steering wheel after stopping the bus, following which he was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Writhing in pain, he alerted the conductor and managed to take the bus to the side of the road before collapsing on the steering wheel, transport department officials said.
