Jharauguda: A drone fell near the house of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and MP Suresh Pujari under mysterious circumstances at Belpahar in Odisha’s Jharsuguda on Thursday.
According to preliminary information, the suspicious looking drone was spotted after it fell near the rented house of Pujari near Gandhi Chhak in Belpahar.
Following the incident, the BJP parliamentarian informed the police. A team of police personnel visited the site and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances in which the drone fell there.
Voicing concern over the incident, the BJP leader sought to know as to who was using the drone and for what purpose.
It may be noted here that Pujari has been nominated by BJP as its candidate for Brajrajnagar Assembly constituency for the upcoming elections.
