Drug Overdose? Actor-Model Aditya Singh Rajput Found Dead In Bathroom

Mumbai: Actor, model and casting director Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead in the bathroom of his apartment here on Monday, police said.

The 32-year-old Rajput of Splitsvilla 9 fame, who was reportedly not keeping well for the last two days, collapsed in the bathroom of his apartment in Oshiwara this afternoon, India Today quoted an official as saying.

Aditya’s friend, who found him unconscious in the 11th-floor apartment, took him to a nearby hospital along with the watchman of the highrise. He was declared dead on arrival.

Reports hinted it could be a case of drug overdose.

An accidental death report (ADR) has been registered and his body has been sent for autopsy.

Delhi boy Aditya started his career as a model. He then appeared in reality TV shows like Splitsvilla Season 9, Love, Ashiqui, Code Red, Aawaz Season 9, Bad Boy Season 4, and became a very popular face.

Besides appearing in over 300 advertisements, Aditya has also been part of movies like ‘Krantiveer’ and ‘Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara’.
