Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police arrested a drug peddler from Bharatpur, on the outskirts of Odisha, late on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided an area in Bharatpur and seized brown sugar worth Rs 6 lakh from Bhabagrahi Sahu. A country-made pistol and five live bullets were also seized from his possession.
Several cases are pending against him in different police stations in Bhubaneswar.
The accused is being interrogated, police said.
