Bhubaneswar: A speeding Thar rammed into a garage at Nayapalli in Odisha capital Bhubaneswar, leaving two injured, last evening.
According to sources, the accident took place when the Thar diver, who was allegedly in an inebriated state, lost control over the vehicle and crashed into the garage. The owner of the garage and his associate sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a private hospital in an ambulance.
Police have detained the driver for questioning. Other occupants of the vehicle, however, reportedly absconded soon after the accident. While liquor bottles were recovered from the vehicle, eyewitnesses said that the driver appeared drugged.
