Drunk Man Falls Into Pot Of Hot Curry, Admitted To AIIMS-Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A man was admitted to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, with burn injuries which he reportedly suffered after falling into a utensil containing hot curry at Haripur village under Tangi police limits on Sunday.

The victim has been identified as Pratap Mahapatra.

According to sources, Pratap had gone to attend a social event in the locality. His uncle was supervising the cooking for the feast. He was in an inebriated condition and fell into the utensil while checking the food items.

He was initially rushed to the Tangi Community Health Centre and later shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar as his condition deteriorated.
