Bhubaneswar: Police detained two drunken girls for creating a nuisance on a busy street here on Saturday.
According to sources, the two girls were traveling in a car on Kapileswar road and later parked it in the middle of the road. When some commuters objected to this, the girls created a ruckus. This brought traffic to a grinding halt on the busy street for a while.
Lingaraj police later detained the two girls, who reportedly hail from West Bengal, and took them to custody for questioning. Police also seized liquor bottles and cigarette packets from the vehicle.
