Nayagarh: A drunken youth allegedly vandalised a statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Dimiria village under Ranpur block of Nayagarh on Monday.
Residents spotted the broken statue and informed police who rushed to the spot. Based on a complaint, registered by residents, the police started investigations. Though the exact reason behind the act is yet to be ascertained, a drunken youth is believed to be responsible for it.
