Kolkata: The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 24, 2024.
Three months before the grand opening, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a Durga Puja in north Kolkata where the pandal has been designed like the upcoming Ram Mandir.
Shah was so impressed by the magnificent pandal that he said a Ram temple has come up in Kolkata ahead of the Ayodhya mandir.
“Fortunate to have inaugurated a Durga Puja pandal at Sealdah in West Bengal today. The pandal, built fascinatingly like the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, can dazzle anyone with its magnificence,” Shah posted on X along with several pictures.
“Durga Puja means the victory of good over evil. May Maa Durga, bless us with the power to defeat the evil that casts darkness on our society and thereby build a nation enriched with prosperity and well-being,” the Home Minister added.
