New Delhi: Strong tremors were felt in the national capital and the NCR region on Tuesday afternoon. Other parts of north India were also jolted in the earthquake which originated in Nepal at around 2.30 pm.
The tremors lasted for almost 10-15 seconds and many people were seen rushing out of their homes and offices in panic. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.
