Jajpur: An eatery owner, Pravakar Sahoo, in Odisha’s Jajpur district allegedly threw hot oil at a customer following an argument over the taste and price of the food.
The victim Prasanjit Parida (48), a resident of Balichandrapur village, sustained severe burn injuries in the incident which took place on Saturday, police sources said.
They had a heated argument after Parida complained about the taste of the food served to him and the price. Following this, Sahoo threw hot oil at Parida. With severe burn injuries on his face, neck, chest, belly and hands, he is undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
