EC Orders Transfer Of 8 IAS & IPS Officers Ahead Of Elections In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday directed Chief Secretary of Odisha to transfer eight IAS and IPS officers to a non-election related posts with immediate effect. 

The list includes 5 SPs, IGP (central range) and two collectors.

The Chief Secretary has also been asked to provide a panel of three eligible officers each for these posts by 5 pm.
