The Election Commission of India (ECI) will give real-time poll counting updates on its ‘Voter Helpline’ app.
The app lets users bookmark a candidate and get updates on their performance routinely. It also gives information on voter registration, shifting of constituency, overseas voters info, deletion or objection in the electoral roll, correction of entries, FAQs on voter, elections, EVM, and results, service and resources for voters and electoral officers, election schedule, candidates info such as their profile, income statement, assets, criminal cases, polling officials contact (BLO, ERO, DEO and CEO) and more.
The app also lets users upload a selfie after voting to feature in their official gallery.
The counting of votes for 2019 election is scheduled to begin from 8 am on Thursday (May 23).
