ECoR Announces 3 Special Trains To Evacuate Tourists From Puri

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the severe cyclonic storm Fani heading towards Odisha coast, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run three special train to evacuate tourists and visitors stranded in Puri.

According to ECoR sources, a special train is being run between Puri and Shalimar (Howrah) to help tourists and students coming for educational purposes to leave the Pilgrim Town.

This train will leave Puri at 12 pm and have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.

It has one AC-2 Tier, three AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, four Second Class Seating.

The second special train to Howrah will leave Puri at 1500 hrs (3 pm ) and the third train to Howrah at 1800 hrs (6 pm)

These too will have stoppages will be at Khurda Road/ Bhubaneswar/Cuttack/Jajpur-Keonjhar Road/Bhadrak/Balasore/Kharagpur.
