ECoR Cancels 74 Trains For Cyclone Fani

Bhubaneswar: In view of approaching cyclone Fani, which is likely to cross Odisha on May 3, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Wednesday announced cancellation of 74 trains in the first phase.

The services have been cancelled, keeping in mind safety and security of passengers, it said, while advising passengers to plan their journey accordingly.

May 2

  1. Train services between Bhadrak-Vizianagaram will be stopped from the evening of May 2.

2. Train services towards Bhubaneswar/Puri will be restricted from late evening of May 2.

3. East Coast Express and Coromondal Express will not run from Howrah on May 2.

4. Trains for Puri from Howrah on the night of May 2 will be cancelled.

5. Trains towards Bangalore/Chennai/Secunderabad from Howrah will be cancelled on the evening of May 2

May 3

  1. All trains from Puri and Bhubaneswar will remain cancelled on May 3

2. All incoming trains, touching Puri/Bhubaneswar will remain cancelled on May 3
